Hello Steven,
I live in SE Orlando and I would like to donate an old piano, but have no experience in how to go about it. Do you know whether the piano I have is worth anything to a potential recipient. It’s a Whitney by Kimball, serial number is 922502. We purchased the piano a couple months ago from a family a couple neighborhoods away (they were moving and didn’t have space). I’m lead to believe they were the only owners and kept it in fairly good condition. My wife’s parents are downsizing, and we’d like to take their piano now instead, therefore looking to donate this Kimball.
Would you be able to advise me whether this piano is worth donating? Do you have any suggestions on how to go about this and/or best practices? If its not worth donating, do you have any advice on how to properly dispose?
